Rest in Peace

Elizabeth Louise Bandel, 94, Horseshoe Bend, AR, passed away Sunday, September 7th, 2014 at CrownPoint Health and Rehab Center. She was born on June 25, 1920 in Rochester, New York as the third child of Joseph and Jenny Luehm and sister to Robert and Virginia. She was working for Prudential Life of NY where she met her late husband of 32 years, Arthur W. Bandel. Arthur and she raised their three children, David, Lynne and Paul and later was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also has four nieces and nephews who are very special to her. Elizabeth spent her working years as a secretary and bookkeeper, and had many hobbies including growing roses and strawberries, ceramics and birding, was a professional grade seamstress and knitter. She was an exceptional cook and baker and loved to volunteer at her local hospital. She was fortunate to have lived in and seen many places throughout the world. Arrangements entrusted to Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Services, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
